Quantitative Analysis
Expressing a decision problem in mathematical terms and measuring or estimating variables in the problem formulation. A quantitative analysis is a fundamental step in building a Model-Driven DSS.

Query
Generically query means question. Usually it refers to a complex SQL SELECT statement for decision support. See Ad-Hoc Query or Ad-Hoc Query Tool.
