June 19-22 Krakow, Poland
Krakow University of Economics

Conference Theme
“Bridging     Diverse   Fields”

 Informing Decision Makers and DSS

Be part of the 2001 Informing Science Conference. Informing Science explores issues in informing clients. It includes fields as varied as information systems, library science, journalism (in all its forms), public relations, history, and education. From their diverse sources, these fields are evolving and emerging into the transdiscipline we call Informing Science. We are interested in publishing work from any area whose aim is to explore the issues in effectively and efficiently informing clients through information technology.

The "Informing Decision Makers and DSS" track needs quality papers that deal with a variety of DSS issues such as:

DSS User Interface design

Using Models to inform decision makers

Business Intelligence and CRM

Data-Driven DSS

Web-Based DSS

DSS Case Studies

All papers will undergo "double blind" review.

Email your submission to me (with a copy to Alka Harriger, Program Chair) by November 30, 2000. You can find complete instructions and submission requirements on the conference web site (http://is2001.com) and on the conference mirror sites:
