Front end seamlessly integrates into SAP systems
Darmstadt, 16 November 2000, SHORT HILLS, N.J., Nov. 27 – MIS AG announced today that its universal front end, MIS onVision, has been certified for mySAP Business Intelligence. Developed by IntelliCube Software AG which joined MIS AG in August 2000, MIS onVision is the latest addition to MIS DecisionWare, the company's platform-independent, Web-based software suite for planning, reporting, consolidation and analysis. MIS Alea, the suite's application server, was certified as a SAP Business Intelligence solution in November 1999.
MIS onVision is a solution for analyzing and reporting corporate data. This application accesses all relational databases via ODBC and offers interfaces to all leading OLAP databases. End users, therefore, can combine data from different sources as well as “soft” information like text documents or e-mails into a single report. These individually customizable reports automatically adjust to changes in the data structures. Reports can also be published on the World Wide Web and viewed from all types of Internet browsers.

Users, therefore, gain access to state-of-the-art technology for decision support, while enterprises can dramatically add value to their current IT resources with minimal investments.”
As a universal front end, MIS onVision represents a key component of MIS DecisionWare, which powers Collaborative Analytical Processing (CAP). Debuted in September, CAP is a new approach that extends the potential of business intelligence in groupware functionality.
