Vality INTEGRITY for Informatica™ ensures quality of data loaded into target systems via Informatica PowerMart™

(August 20, 2001) –Vality^® Technology, Inc., the leader in enterprise data quality management solutions, today announced it has developed an interface with Informatica^® Corp., a leading provider of enterprise analytic software that enables companies to leverage business insight for competitive advantage. The new Vality interface, INTEGRITY for Informatica, will cleanse and repurpose data that Informatica’s PowerMart transforms and moves to ensure the data’s quality and integrity in the target system.

Vality INTEGRITY for Informatica, which is available immediately, will allow Informatica users to seamlessly invoke INTEGRITY Applications directly through the client via Informatica’s External Procedure facility. Vality has developed INTEGRITY for Informatica to enable users working within the Informatica PowerMart software to invoke either INTEGRITY re-engineering processes in the INTEGRITY Application Process Library embedded in PowerMart or their own INTEGRITY applications built with the INTEGRITY Data Re-engineering Environment and custom tailored to their own business requirements.
