   Brokat's Blaze Advisor(TM) Brings Personalization to The FREEDOM Group's
                          Property-Casualty Software

Fiserv, Inc., has chosen to integrate Brokat's Blaze Advisor
Solutions Suite(TM) into its line of online insurance systems.
    Advisor, developed by Blaze Software, a Brokat Company, manages a
company's policies, practices, and procedures -- the "business rules" that
define how the business operates in any particular situation.  The FREEDOM
Group will first integrate Brokat's Blaze Advisor in the FREEDOM(R) Claims
Workstation and Policy STAR(TM).  Having Brokat's Blaze Advisor in these two
insurance systems will empower business managers to define and update the
unique rules that control claim management and policy administration at their
companies.  The business people responsible for operational decisions can
implement them in seconds, using intuitive, business-specific Web pages.

    The FREEDOM Claims Workstation is a system that property and casualty
(P&C) insurers, third party administrators, and self-insureds use to process
claims.  The system manages the entire life cycle of a claim.  Based on
customer-specified configuration, the system assigns and distributes claims to
adjusters.  Adjusters use the system to organize their caseloads and
activities.  The FREEDOM Policy STAR application is a browser-based P&C policy
administration system that offers online, real-time capability for all quote
and policy processing functions, as well as a complete client relationship
system.
    In both Claims Workstation and Policy STAR, Brokat's Blaze Advisor was
selected to automate business processes by handling several complex tasks,
including editing and validating input fields, and determining whether a
transaction is allowed.
