More than 150 Executives Speak Out on Content Integration

Survey Results Provide Insight Into Critical Need to Access and Associate Relevant Content in Support of eBusiness Applications

Charlotte, NC, March 5, 2002 — Today Venetica released the results of a Content Integration survey that reveals how IT decision-makers view the need for content integration and plan to address those needs. More than 150 Executives responsible for portals, content management, infrastructure and related eBusiness initiatives participated.

Survey highlights include:

  • 94% of those surveyed claimed it was important to leverage relevant content stored throughout the enterprise in support of eBusiness applications.
  • More than 67% of executives said that they were looking to integrate content to support portals, intranets and other eBusiness applications within the next 12 months.
  • 75% of executives polled said that they would prefer an off-the-shelf integration over a build your own approach.

Venetica is using the survey data to better understand market needs and ensure it is providing customers with content integration solutions that meet their need to seamlessly access unstructured content across the enterprise through a single interface, and then associate that content with a specific process or topic.

A one-page summary of the survey is available upon request. Should you like to review the summary or wish to speak with a Venetica executive about how the company is addressing content integration needs, please contact Amy Cojac at acojac@venetica.com or (704) 926-3112.
