The AMR Research study compared PLM providers' strength in five key areas -- Portfolio/Program Management, Customer Needs Management, Collaborative Product Design, Product Data Management and Direct Material Sourcing. EDS PLM Solutions received strong ratings in all five categories, with particular strength in Customer Needs Management, Collaborative Product Design and Product Data Management.

"We applaud the comprehensive nature of the AMR Research benchmark and the resultant depth of their analysis," said Tony Affuso, president of EDS PLM Solutions. "EDS is the clear winner in this benchmark study. Not only are we the leader in terms of global, 24x7 production implementations around the world, but AMR Research's results also recognize our leadership in solutions depth and breadth across the lifecycle."
