BP Lubricants Selects Kalido Data Warehousing for Management Information Pilot Program

London, United Kingdom, 15 September, 2003 - BP Lubricants has selected next generation data warehousing software from Kalido for the pilot of its worldwide management information program, BIGS (Business Intelligence and Global Standards), following a competitive Enterprise Data Warehousing evaluation by BP Refining & Marketing Segment. The BIGS pilot program completed successfully, with the KALIDO(tm) Dynamic Information Warehouse serving as the core data warehousing component to provide high-quality business intelligence for performance management.

BP Lubricants established the BIGS program following recent merger activity. The KALIDO software's role in the pilot program was to provide integrated management information from data collected from numerous source systems and support the development for global standards while also meeting diverse local reporting requirements. The KALIDO software provides standardized information and detailed, consistent views of key performance indicators across business functions such as finance, marketing, sales, and supply and logistics.
