Databeacon and Infinite Campus Help Educators Meet "No Child Left Behind" Act Requirements

OTTAWA, ON -- APRIL 26, 2004 -- Databeacon Inc., a developer of Web reporting and data analysis software, today announced a partnership with Infinite Campus to bring its award winning software to educators throughout the United States. Infinite Campus will offer Databeacon software as part of its Education Process Management (EPM) system, providing educators with the tools necessary to easily analyze student data and meet the reporting requirements of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act.

Signed by President George W. Bush in January 2002, the NCLB Act was designed to create the best educational opportunities for children and to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed. The law is built on four common-sense pillars: accountability for results; an emphasis on doing what works based on scientific research; expanded parental options; and expanded local control and flexibility. NCLB needs accurate information in order to hold schools accountable for providing quality education, and states use data to calculate district funding.

Located in Minneapolis, MN, Infinite Campus is a provider of a Web-based EPM system that tracks all types of data including grades, class schedules, attendance records, and food service data. Under its partner arrangement with Databeacon, Infinite Campus has created a per-student pricing model that lets the organization include Web-based reporting and analysis functionality as part of its existing fee structure to school districts and boards.
