Oracle Announces Keynote Series and Sponsors for Oracle(R) AppsWorld

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Jan. 22, 2004 -- Oracle Corporation (Nasdaq: ORCL) today announced the keynote speakers and major sponsors of its upcoming Oracle(R) AppsWorld conference, to be held January 26-29, 2004, at the San Diego Convention Center. This year's Oracle AppsWorld will focus on business solutions, customer success and industry expertise.

Oracle AppsWorld will feature addresses by Oracle's leading executives, including CEO Larry Ellison, and technology luminaries. The keynote series will offer attendees insight on ways to maximize and extend Oracle applications to reduce costs, increase efficiencies and provide better information. The keynote series includes:

-- Chuck Phillips, Oracle president, and Jeff Henley, Oracle Chairman of the Board and Oracle chief financial officer, who will welcome attendees on the show's opening day on Tuesday, January 27 at 9:00 a.m. PST;

-- Mark S. Lewis, executive vice-president of EMC Corporation, whose keynote on "Information Lifecycle Management" will be at 9:45 a.m. PST on Tuesday, January 27;

-- Ron Wohl, Oracle executive vice president Oracle of Applications Development, who will provide an update on the current status of the Oracle E-Business Suite at 10:00 a.m. PST on Wednesday, January 28.
