Concept
=======
The DW2004 Conference contributes to the vision of integrated,
enterprise wide information logistics - and the way to implement
it. Both data warehousing and enterprise application integration
technologies can now be combined to realise closed loop information
logistics, enabling the real-time enterprise for operational and
analytical purposes.

Following the big success of DW2000 and DW2002, DW2004 provides
a leading forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange
new ideas and practical experience as well as to learn about new
trends.

Tracks and topics of interest

Doctoral consortium
===================
DW 2004 will incorporate a doctoral consortium for Ph.D. students
doing research in information logistics. The consortium provides
an opportunity to share and develop their research ideas.
Interested doctoral students are invited to register on the
conference website and to submit their contributions to the
doctoral consortium. The requirements are the same as for the main
program. Submitted contributions will undergo the same reviewing
process as submissions for the main program. Provided that the
contribution adheres to an adequate quality, it will be accepted
for the conference’s main program and will be published in the
conference proceedings.

Submission guidelines
=====================
The DW2004 Program Committee invites submissions of research papers
and practice reports. The official conference language will be
German. Contributions in English are welcome. Accepted papers will
be published in the conference proceedings, published by Physica,
a subsidiary of Springer.

Submission of a scientific article to DW2004 implies the authors’
certification that the manuscript is not copyrighted and is not
currently under review by any other journal or conference.
Practitioners may submit practice reports preferably focusing on
the main topics mentioned above. Submitted documents are restricted
to 5,000 words. According to the instructions of the publisher,
submitted documents can only be accepted in Microsoft Word format,
release Word 97 or higher. The document style and instructions can
be downloaded on the conference website. All papers must be uploaded
