Wilshire Meta Data Best Practices Award Recognizes Intel for Outstanding Quality Effort and Proven ROI
LOS ANGELES, CA, May 18, 2004 -- Wilshire Conferences, Inc. announced the winner of its third annual Wilshire Award for Meta Data Best Practices at the annual Wilshire Meta-Data Conference and DAMA International Symposium held recently in Los Angeles. The award for Outstanding Enterprise Meta Data Implementation – was given to Intel Corporation, of Folsom, California. Additional finalists were CheckFree, Bank of Montreal, First Data Corporation and US Transcom. The judging process, which takes approximately 4-weeks, requires that companies submit a nomination in response to a standard set of questions, followed by two rounds of judging. Additional questions are posed to the finalists following the first round of evaluation.
