User Interfaces in Excel
When you create a Model-Driven DSS using Microsoft Excel, you can add buttons, spinners, check boxes, and other types of controls to the worksheet. Controls offer options to the user, change values or run macros that automate a task.
With the Forms toolbar, you can create controls such as a button, a group of check boxes, a list box, a spinner, or a scroll bar. You can attach an existing macro to a button or create controls that provide data to a list box or that change data on the worksheet.
The controls available on the Control Toolbox are known as ActiveX controls.
