DAYTON, Ohio, July 28, 2006 – Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), announced today that Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD), one of the largest retailers in the nation, has implemented a new Teradata data warehouse. In addition to the data warehouse hardware and software, Sears Holdings is employing Teradata Professional and Customer Services and has signed a combined maintenance agreement covering all Teradata technology. Prior to their merger in 2005, Sears and Kmart each had been relying on Teradata technology for more than a decade.
