Visual Analytics and Info-Cop partner to offer law enforcement end-to-end mobile solution

POOLESVILLE, Md., Aug. 25, 2006 -- Visual Analytics Inc., a leading provider of analytical technologies, and GTBM, Inc., developers of Info-Cop's suite of cutting-edge wireless technologies for law enforcement, have partnered to create a powerful new information networking environment for law enforcement. This partnership will provide law enforcement agencies at all levels quick, efficient wireless access to unlimited databases from any location, increasing both the safety of personnel and the effectiveness of their job functions.

This specialized environment is based on the Visual Analytics technologies Digital Information Gateway (DIG) and VisuaLinks with full integration of the Info-Cop mobile technology. In this environment, DIG is used to create a virtual warehouse of data creating a single point of access to data maintained, and selected for sharing, by the participating agencies. The DIG approach to data access allows the original data provider to maintain ownership and access control while sharing selected information with others The Info-Cop mobile agent is used by law enforcement and public safety personnel to search the data integrated and managed by DIG, including agency databases and public data stores as well as data shared by other organizations, such as the FBI, from any mobile device anywhere in the country.

Info-Cop provides real-time, secure access to Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) databases nationwide, including the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). The Info-Cop system is highly adaptable and can be run over all public or private wireless networks. The Info-Cop software can be accessed using mobile computers, blackberry devices, handheld PDA's, or smart phones. The Info-Cop system uses a configurable and highly secure FIPS 140-2 compliant platform.

VisuaLinks completes the solution providing for true integrated analysis across all available data to uncover known and emerging patterns of activity. The combination of these technologies creates a robust, end-to-end solution encompassing data sharing, mobile access and fusion center analysis.

Visual Analytics is proud to partner with Info-Cop in creating this exciting new solution. We are certain that the combination of these technologies will help create a safer working environment for law enforcement, first responders and public safety personnel everywhere.
