NCR Upgrades Data Warehouses at The Limited, Inc. DAYTON, Ohio, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- NCR Corporation announced today it has upgraded two NCR Teradata(R) Warehouse environments for The Limited, Inc. One solution supports state-of-the-art business intelligence solutions for a broad range of critical merchandising applications for several brands at The Limited, Inc. The second solution supports customer focused analysis, targeted marketing and customer relationship management applications for Intimate Brands, Inc. The data warehouses are managed by Limited Technology Services, which provides information technology support and services for The Limited, Inc. and Intimate Brands, Inc. The merchandising system will expand to a 14-node NCR WorldMark 5150 platform with 3.5 terabytes of storage and the marketing system will consist of a 4-node NCR WorldMark 5250 platform and 3.5 terabytes of storage. NCR will also provide a full complement of implementation, consulting and support services. NCR has installed 220 one terabyte or larger data warehouses for customers around the world.
