VistaJDBC ends spreadsheet isolation by providing functionality for automatic extraction of data from Microsoft® Excel spreadsheets via standard SQL and providing the ability to combine it with data from enterprise-wide sources.

The new release offers additional write capabilities so that Java applications can automatically create, access and update multiple spreadsheets. VistaJDBC is a unique software driver that delivers a bridge between Windows® and UNIX® environments so that Java applications running on multiple platforms can access spreadsheet data without running Excel, having access to data stored in Excel spreadsheets and relational databases simultaneously.
