TMC HealthCare purchases Avega's Alliance Decision Support and myAlliance Portal

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 19, 2005 -- Avega Health Systems is pleased to announce that TMC HealthCare, Tucson, AZ, has recently purchased Alliance Decision Support and the myAlliance Portal from Avega.

TMC HealthCare is Southern Arizona's largest regional nonprofit hospital system with Tucson Medical Center and El Dorado Hospital at its core. Tucson Medical Center has become one of the 300 largest hospitals in the country and has earned numerous awards in recent years, including Quality Leader and Consumer Choice designations by the National Research Council, and listings in the Top 100 hospitals for stroke care and orthopedics by Solucient in Modern Healthcare magazine. TMC is licensed for 609 adult and skilled nursing beds, 62 psychiatric beds (Palo Verde Mental Health Services) and 90 bassinets. The hospital serves more than 30,000 inpatients and 122,000 outpatients yearly.
