Applix announces continued support for Hyperion customers requiring self-service analytics

Hundreds of Joint Applix/Hyperion Customers Benefit From Tight Integration, Ongoing Support

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Aug. 1, 2006 -- Applix, Inc. (Nasdaq: APLX), a global leader in performance management applications, today announced the company's support for Hyperion System 9 software using Applix Executive Viewer. Applix will continue to support tight integration of Executive Viewer (formerly Temtec Executive Viewer), enabling customers, including non-financial users, to easily perform advanced analysis on business-critical information across the enterprise.
