LOS ANGELES & KANSAS CITY, Kan., Sept. 21, 2006--The University of Kansas (KU) Hospital has contracted with Zynx Health to integrate clinical content as part of the hospital's advanced clinical information system project.

ZynxOrder will provide KU Hospital with a Web-based knowledge management system for developing and maintaining evidence-based order sets, reminders, and alerts. Additionally, KU Hospital clinicians will have access to more than 3,400 evidence summaries and 450 order set templates, as well as the online customization tools to streamline the process of developing order sets and reach rapid consensus on best practices. Zynx clinicians create and update all clinical content and order set templates based on timely, rigorous reviews of the peer-reviewed literature, pay-for-performance measures, and regulatory standards.
