In recognition of success with Primavera(R), Sabre Holdings named to the InfoWorld 100

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 11, 2007 -- Primavera Systems, Inc., announced today that InfoWorld has named Sabre Holdings, a leading travel commerce retailer, to the 2006 InfoWorld 100 in the Transportation category. Sabre was chosen for their advanced implementation of Primavera software while both integrating the new software with existing systems and keeping workflow intact.

"Sabre has a lengthy history of deploying advanced technology to optimize our business and enhance the experiences of our customers," said Herm Barringhaus, Corporate Systems Delivery Manager at Sabre Holdings. "Our deployment of Primavera has helped us improve resource planning efficiency and productivity. We are proud that our success has been recognized by the InfoWorld 100 award."

Sabre, which is based in Southlake, Texas, employs 9,000 employees in 45 countries and operates three main lines of business: Travelocity, a consumer online travel reservation system; Sabre Travel Network, which serves travel agencies, travel suppliers, corporations and government agencies; and Sabre Airline Solutions, which helps airlines, airports and government agencies optimize their operations.

Sabre chose Primavera to replace multiple systems that managed resource demand, labor detail, funding sponsorships, cost centers, and reporting. As a result of its Primavera implementation, Sabre is now able to:

* Collect needed information from all work requestors through a standardized approval process

* Review side-by-side comparisons of different project portfolios according to key business factors, such as budget and resource constraints

* Standardize work delivery processes and reporting metrics for effective management of global teams

* Communicate role-specific information to all levels of the organization through customizable dashboards

After only nine months, Sabre has reduced both the budget and time needed to manage the system, improved visibility into resource assignments and skills, and increased productivity and capacity.

"It is said that fortune favors the bold. The inspiration for this year's finalists to tackle such sweeping changes varies widely -- from reducing delivery times of products and services to replacing cumbersome legacy systems," said Richard Gincel, InfoWorld Senior Editor. "But regardless of the motivation, high ambition unites them all."

"Sabre has long been viewed as an IT visionary, and the company's selection for the InfoWorld 100 is a great recognition of their foresight and ability to execute," said Joanne McCool, general manager of Primavera for Services, a business unit of Primavera Systems. "We congratulate Sabre on their continued determination and success."
