Nielsen launches a flexible, real time marketplace intelligence solution

New approach delivers integrated market and consumer intelligence to clients from up-to-date sources through Nielsen Answers™

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., June 07, 2007 -- Taking an important new step to provide every client with fast, convenient and personalized access to critical marketplace intelligence, The Nielsen Company today announced the launch in the U.S. of a unique reporting solution which sets a new standard for enterprise-wide reporting providing instantaneous access to reports leveraging Nielsen’s comprehensive data sources.

Enterprise Reporting makes it easy for clients to deliver selected consumer and market information to their marketing, sales and general managers, using a common reporting system that is based on consistent, up-to-date data sources. The solution is available to clients through Nielsen Answers, a web-based strategic information management system.

The solution offers multiple reporting options through one common web interface that can be accessed throughout the enterprise. Companies can choose from one of three solutions or a combination of solutions that best meet their needs:

Dynamic Reporting provides clients with easy web access to information that is automatically updated behind the scenes. This provides the fastest possible access to the most current Nielsen data to run and share reports as desired. Managed Reporting provides a Nielsen-hosted solution for creating, updating and publishing high-volume reports on client-defined cycles.
