DAYTON, Ohio, October 16, 2007 -- Teradata Corporation (NYSE:TDC), the global leader in enterprise data warehousing, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned Teradata in the leaders’ quadrant in its “Data Warehouse DBMS Magic Quadrant – 2007,” authored by Donald Feinberg and Mark A. Beyer (Oct. 10, 2007). The report evaluates vendors that supply database management system software used to support data warehousing.

The report follows Teradata’s recent debut as a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange and completes a highly successful Teradata PARTNERS User Group conference. The event surpassed all previous records for attendance, participation and positive feedback from leading companies, partners, analysts, academics and other thought leaders.
