TORONTO, 10/12/09 -- Infobright, the open source data warehousing company, and Polystar OSIX, one of Europe's leading telecommunications suppliers, today announced that mobile communications provider 3 Scandinavia has gone live with Polystar's Customer Experience Management (CEM) and Service Assurance solution based on Infobright's analytic database technology. 3 Scandinavia, a joint venture between Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. of Hong Kong and Investor AB of Stockholm, is leveraging the solution to more efficiently store and analyze the massive amounts of data generated by its mobile subscriber base.

3 Scandinavia operates 3G mobile networks in Sweden and Denmark, delivering voice and data services to 1.4 million customers. The provider needs to access and store up to six months of call detail records and other types of data for troubleshooting, quality assurance and business analysis purposes.
