The Partners Steering Committee is currently soliciting applications from subject-matter experts to address either the business or technical considerations and benefits of data warehousing practices and BI solutions. To fully address the Teradata User Community, we're looking for speakers from all industries and all regions of the world. Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo October 24–28, 2010 San Diego Convention Center San Diego, CA Conference Audience The PARTNERS Conference attracts Teradata's global customers and prospects, industry analysts, academics, consultants, media, business leaders, and Teradata employees. The benefits: Complimentary, full-conference registration for the primary speaker, provided by the PARTNERS User Group Professional development Personal recognition as a subject-matter expert Networking opportunities Applications will be accepted through March 29, 2010 Speaker applications are submitted exclusively at www.Teradata-Partners.com/speak during the “Call for Papers” process held early each year (February/March) for the annual fall conference. Q: How does the speaker selection process work? A: The Partners Steering Committee reviews and scores each submitted application. Generally, the highest scoring applications that align with the established conference elements will offer our global conference attendees the best-in-class content they have come to expect. The conference elements are a balance of various topics, levels of complexity, technical or business perspectives, industry, and region. Also taken into consideration is a balance of “speaker type” (i.e., Teradata Customer, Teradata Subject Matter Expert, Partner, Consultant, Analyst, and Academic). The committee strives to place as many customer speakers as possible. Q: When will I know if I’m selected? A: All speaker applicants will be notified of their selection status (accepted, alternate, or declined) via email in May.
