NEW YORK, Nov. 23, 2004 -- IsoSpace, provider of advanced Internet- based real-time communication and collaboration systems, today announced the renewal of its contract with the U.S. Army for use of IsoSpace v4.7, a real- time collaboration software product. This latest contract will allow the Army to further reduce travel-related expenses by expanding its IsoSpace user base.

Since July 2002, the Army has used IsoSpace to support collaborative training and support though real-time interaction over the Internet. Users participate through a simple, intuitive one-page interface and powerful set of features, all accessed though Microsoft Internet Explorer.

IsoSpace v4.7 combines video conferencing with permanent, secure storage of all types of files, screen sharing, whiteboarding & document markup, chat, IM & email, task management, polling, discussion boards, and voice over IP (VoIP). IsoSpace has received DCTS certification from the Department of Defense for collaboration within all DOD systems.

IsoSpace v4.7 also integrates tightly with Microsoft Exchange Servers, allowing users to schedule meetings by accessing the Exchange calendars of all invited users and selecting the optimal time for the largest number of invitees.
