Comair welcomes DOT review of holiday flight cancellations as airline continues to cooperate closely with regulatory agencies

Comair decision support system problems result in flight cancelations

CINCINNATI, OH, Dec. 27, 2004 – Comair deeply regrets the inconvenience to all of our customers caused by the severe winter storm in the Ohio River Valley during the busy holiday season, exacerbated by problems with the airline's crew scheduling system, causing additional flight delays and cancellations.

“Comair looks forward to sharing with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and its Inspector General what we have learned from this chain of events as we work together to help avoid situations like this in the future," said Comair President Randy Rademacher. "Comair will cooperate fully with the DOT in this matter."

Comair and Delta Air Lines together are committed to offering all of its customers as many options as possible to safely complete their travel plans as Comair's flight operations return to normal by mid-week.
