SYDNEY, Australia, Jan. 26, 2005 -- Project Management Software company Project Perfect Pty. Ltd. announced release of Project Administrator version 3.3. The new version now includes change management. It allows project managers to track all changes on a project including justification, impact, dollars and timeline. The software can also track the status of any change from proposed, to approved or rejected, and allocated.

Project Perfect is based in Sydney, Australia, and sells its software via the Internet. The company has been marketing Project Administrator for five years and has seen a 100% increase in business over the last year as word of mouth resulted in additional sales for both IT project and construction project management.

Neville Turbit, a Director of Project Perfect software company, said, "Word of mouth has created pockets of users. For example a purchaser in the government area in Houston, Texas, was so impressed, he promoted the project management software to many of his peers. The result is a pool of users in Texas.

Project Administrator (PA) integrates with Microsoft Project for scheduling. Its purpose, however, is to allow a Project Manager to handle things a scheduling tool doesn't. Issue tracking allows capture of issues and tracking of action items to resolve those issues. PA manages risks, issues, action items, scope variations, documents, QA, benefit delivery, budget and expenditure, roles and responsibilities, includes a glossary and even generates a weekly report. There are over 100 standard project management reports. Of course it now tracks changes in the project.

The Project Perfect project management software is both inexpensive (anywhere from A$250 to A$4,000 (US$190 to US$3,000 approx.), and easy to install as it runs on Microsoft Access and takes advantage of all the functionality built into Access. Configuration of the project management software takes less than 15 minutes.
