HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 15, 2005 -- Intergraph (NASDAQ: INGR) Mapping and Geospatial Solutions today announced U.S. federal government security teams used Intergraph's mobile solutions in security operations at the 2005 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C., and the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City. Intergraph provided federal government security teams with an IntelliWhere(TM)-based system for real-time tracking of resources throughout the course of these events. IntelliWhere TrackForce was used to provide a map-based command and control interface while the PDA-based IntelliWhere OnDemand application was used to provide selected field personnel with a portable tracking capability.

During these operations, Intergraph provided support to operations command elements as well as critical, behind-the-scenes technical support from Huntsville, Ala. Intergraph business partners, Airo Wireless and T-Mobile, provided critical hardware and network support to the project.

Intergraph quickly mobilized a custom security solution that was powerful and flexible enough to include GPS tracking and wireless communications via standard technologies, such as PDAs and smartphones, to ensure the project's success.
