QUALCOMM and Integrated Decision Support Corporation launch In-Cab Fuel Services

- Jointly Developed Services Offer Access to Industry Leading Fuel Optimization Tools -

SAN DIEGO, March 7, 2005 -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading provider of wireless data solutions, and Integrated Decision Support Corporation (IDSC), a leading developer of decision support software, today announced the launch of In-Cab Fuel Services jointly developed by QUALCOMM and IDSC.

These unique and powerful new services leverage existing capabilities of QUALCOMM's OmniTRACS(R) and OmniExpress(R) fleet management solutions, and IDSC's industry-leading fuel optimization tools to deliver fuel purchase recommendations directly to drivers. The Fuel Query service offers general fuel pricing information at fuel stops in the vicinity of a driver's current location, while the Trip Planning service provides a complete fuel optimization plan including high-level routing, recommended fuel stops and purchase quantities.

"At a time when fuel prices are threatening to erode industry profits, these services greatly enhance the value that our customers can realize from their investments in QUALCOMM fleet management solutions," said Norm Ellis, vice president and general manager of transportation and logistics, QUALCOMM Wireless Business Solutions. "We are pleased to work with IDSC to leverage capabilities of both our organizations in the development and delivery of these unique services, which we believe provide compelling value to our mutual customers."

The driver-initiated Fuel Query and Trip Planning services allow companies of all sizes to access the industry's leading fuel purchase decision support tools and automatically deliver the results directly to drivers. Companies may also tailor purchase recommendations delivered by the services to their specific operating profiles by entering discount structures and preferred fuel stops at a secure website.

"These services that we have jointly developed with QUALCOMM offer a fast and convenient way to access our optimization-based decision support systems, while avoiding high systems integration costs," said Dr. Richard Murphy, president and chief executive officer, IDSC. "The services will allow companies to capitalize on their investments in mobile communications to generate considerable savings in fuel expenses."

Integrated Decision Support Corporation (IDSC) celebrates over 25 years as a leading provider of decision support software for the truckload carrier, serving customers representing over 70,000 power units and the "Top 100" carrier market.
