DENVER, CO, May 19, 2005 - The Agile Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the concepts of Agile software development, today announced the Agile 2005 Conference. The inaugural conference will be held July 24 - 29, 2005 in Denver, and represents the merger of two highly successful industry conferences: XP/Agile Universe and Agile Development Conference. The combined conference is ideal for independent software vendors, software consultants and in-house corporate development teams interested in learning first-hand how to successfully implement and scale Agile methodologies.

Attendees of Agile 2005 can choose among more than 85 practical, interactive sessions led by industry luminaries, Agile programming experts and peer-led development team leaders. Agile 2005 aims to bring together the Agile development community by promoting the profound benefits the methodologies deliver, while building momentum for an increasingly mainstream adoption of Agile practices.
