GeoVideo 1.1 offers support for indexing MPEG and Windows standard video formats, eliminating the need to create a DVD volume to import data. GeoVideo software enables users to geo-reference and map digital still images, video recordings, and audio to create multimedia maps that deliver clear pictures and precise locations of targeted geographical areas. GeoVideo rapidly processes the video and creates an index layer of the collection route, which users can click on at any point to access the video. As the video plays, a moving cursor indicates position and camera direction. At any point, users can capture a spatially-referenced still image or video clip from the video.
