DM Review restructures editorial management

New Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Director Announced

NEW YORK, NY, Aug. 19, 2005 -- DM Review, a SourceMedia publication and the premier source for business intelligence, analytics, integration and data warehousing, announced today several changes in its editorial management team. Effective September 15, 2005, Mary Jo Nott, currently Web editor, will be promoted to editor-in-chief of both print and online content for the publication and its complementary Web sites. In addition, Jim Ericson, currently editor-in-chief of Business Intelligence Review, will become editorial director overseeing content strategy for both DM Review and Business Intelligence Review magazines.

Ms. Nott has worked for DM Review for 8 years, having started with DM Review in 1997, and has been overseeing the direction of content and development for DMReview.com and DataWarehouse.com. In her new role, Ms. Nott will be responsible for the content across DM Review magazine and DMReview.com, including a portfolio of e-newsletters and 30+ Web seminars that DM Review hosts each year for sponsor partners.

Jim Ericson joined SourceMedia in 2004 to oversee content for the launch of the new quarterly magazine, Business Intelligence Review. In addition to his duties as editor-in-chief of Business Intelligence Review, in his new role, Mr. Ericson, working closely with Ms. Nott, will be tasked with overseeing the overall editorial direction of DM Review. Prior to joining SourceMedia, Mr. Ericson served as the editorial director at business news outlet Line56 Media, where he also co-founded the award-winning Portals Magazine. Prior to that, Mr. Ericson served as a senior network news producer for NBC/Mutual Radio, and was managing editor of MSNBC's Washington, DC online affiliate.

"Mary Jo's understanding of the market has prepared her to take over the challenges she will face in this position. Her knowledge, combined with Jim Ericson's broad news experience, have poised DM Review and Business Intelligence Review to build on the tradition of editorial excellence that these publications have established," said Brian Cronin, publisher of DM Review and Business Intelligence Review.

"DM Review magazine and DMReview.com are essential sources of information for our community of readers, and we are going to maintain their high standards. As the market evolves, we will keep our audience up to date on the technology and strategy trends most relevant to their personal success and the success of their organizations," added Jim Ericson, Editorial Director.
