Type 2 Decisions

structured and semi-structured, low stakes, reversible choices primarily made by operating and middle-level managers. A Type 2 decision is like a two-way door, you can walk through and you can see what you find, and if you don't like it, you can walk right back through and return to the state as it was before. Some Type 2 decisions are routine and can be automated. In general, Type 2 decisions can be made much more quickly than Type 1 "one-way" door decisions.
