Oracle announces keynote speakers for Oracle(R) OpenWorld San Francisco 2006

Expanded Keynote Series Features Industry Leaders From AMD, Capgemini, Cisco, Dell, HP, Network Appliance, Oracle and Sun

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Oct. 11, 2006 -- Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) today announced the keynote series for Oracle(R) OpenWorld, Oracle's global business and technology conference to be held October 22-26, 2006 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Industry leaders from AMD, Capgemini, Cisco Systems, Dell Inc., HP, Network Appliance, Inc., Oracle and Sun Microsystems, Inc. will be on hand to share insights into industry trends and developments with the conference's more than 41,000 attendees.

Oracle executives will deliver keynote addresses offering insight into how Oracle is helping companies better compete, adapt, and prosper. Executives from Oracle's key industry partners will highlight collaboration efforts with Oracle, strategies for bringing joint solutions to the market, and new business trends and developments. This year's OpenWorld keynote schedule will be as follows:

*Sunday, October 22

**Oracle President Charles Phillips will deliver a welcome address from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. PT.

*Monday, October 23

**Hector de J. Ruiz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, AMD, will present from 8:45 a.m.-9:30 a.m. PT;

**Chuck Rozwat, Oracle Executive Vice President, will take the stage to talk about Oracle Database and Server Technologies from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. PT; and,

**Michael Dell, Chairman of the Board, Dell Inc., will address attendees from 2:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. PT.

*Tuesday, October 24

**Mark Hurd, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, HP, will deliver his keynote from 8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m. PT;

**Thomas Kurian, Oracle Senior Vice President, will offer insight into developments around Oracle Fusion Middleware from 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m. PT.;

**Andy Mulholland, Global Chief Technology Officer, Capgemini, will deliver his speech from 12:15 p.m.-1:15 p.m. PT; and,

**John Chambers, President and Chief Executive Officer, Cisco Systems, will take the stage from 3:15 p.m.-4:00 p.m. PT.

*Wednesday, October 25

**John Wookey, Oracle Senior Vice President, will provide a look into Oracle Applications from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. PT;

**Jonathan Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer and President, Sun Microsystems, Inc. will immediately follow from 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m. PT;

**Tom Mendoza, President, Network Appliance, Inc., will present from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. PT; and,

**Larry Ellison, Oracle Chief Executive Officer, will close out the OpenWorld keynote series from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. PT.
