REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Aug. 17, 2004 -- Oracle Corporation (Nasdaq: ORCL) today opened registration for Oracle(R) OpenWorld San Francisco 2004, the flagship event in the company's global business and technology conference series, to be held December 5-9 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Combining the expertise offered at previous OracleWorld and Oracle AppsWorld shows, Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco is designed to offer a comprehensive picture of how integration between Oracle's products, technologies and partners can help run a real-time business.

The event will feature five days of intensive educational programming for business and IT professionals, customers, and partners. Additionally, this year's event will include an impressive line up of industry leaders sharing their vision for the future of the technology industry. Keynote speakers are scheduled to include Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle Corporation; Michael Dell, chairman of Dell Corporation; Joe Tucci, president and CEO of EMC Corporation; Carly Fiorina, chairman and CEO of HP; and Scott McNealy, chairman and CEO of Sun Microsystems, Inc.
