Demand Management, Inc. announces version 11 Sales & Operations Planning

New functionality saves users time and increases S&OP efficiency

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 29, 2008 -- Demand Management, Inc., (DMI) a global resource for managing the supply chain for small and midsized enterprises, announced Demand Solutions(R) Sales & Operations Planning Version 11 (DS S&OP) at its 21st Annual Customer Conference earlier this month.

The market-leading DS S&OP software includes additional functionality to further increase strategic decision-making efficiency.

-- Microsoft Office Auto-Update: DS S&OP auto-update feature links to Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Changes agreed to during pre-S&OP meetings are immediately reflected in PowerPoint and Word -- eliminating the tedious task of manually copying and pasting graphs. DS S&OP Version 11 is fully compatible with Microsoft 2003 and Microsoft 2007 presentation tools.

-- Expanded Workspace Dashboards: DS S&OP features easy-to-manipulate workspaces for users to do complex scenario planning. Version 11 now offers extended Dashboards to make the presentation of workspaces easier to present and understand. Users can quickly and easily focus their efforts on the areas that need management attention.

-- Extended capabilities for high-level capacity planning: DS S&OP Version 11 now provides a granular view of capacity by line, time period or individual machine to give users greater visibility and increased accuracy into production capabilities. In addition, the new version allows flexibility in variable run-rates per time period.

"S&OP can be a competitive differentiator for manufacturing executives but too often the process becomes mired in data collection. The new functionality in DS S&OP Version 11 demonstrates our commitment to making Sales & Operations Planning as easy to perform as possible and yield better business decisions," said Bill Harrison, President of Demand Management, Inc. "Demand Management introduced the first true S&OP tool 16 years ago and we have continually added functionality based on customer input and technology improvement, and the result is a world-class S&OP offering that will save time and increase efficiency."
