IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 5, 2008 -- Telogis today introduced version 6.1 of its OnTrack vehicle tracking system with new features and capabilities that optimize operations and fleet performance in ways that enable companies to dramatically improve fuel efficiency, field personnel productivity and customer satisfaction. -- Detailed tracking of vehicle idling, providing fleet managers with critical information to reduce excessive idling. This data also allows fleet managers to stay compliant with fuel tax reporting requirements by providing idling data by vehicle and state/province in a format that supports IFTA reporting.

-- An enhanced dashboard that synthesizes the information that OnTrack gathers and analyzes, presenting it in a visual, color-coded manner that allows managers to monitor key parameters related to their fleet, such as fuel efficiency, on-time/late arrivals, idling time, speeding, maintenance alerts, etc.

-- Monitoring of vehicles that exceed posted speed limits, enabling companies to reduce moving violations and liability.

-- "Matchmaking" function that enables fleet managers to tag individual field employees and vehicles with information about skills and equipment and ensure that the employee and vehicle assigned to a work order are appropriate for the job.

-- Valuable reports called "Insight Alerts" which utilize OnTrack's analytics and reporting capabilities to provide proactive updates and recommendations about how to improve fleet performance.

-- Additional language support for companies with multi-national operations and multi-lingual staffs.
