DemandTec to showcase customer-centricity and next generation retail optimization at National Retail Federation's (NRF) BIG Show

Forum presentation and expo to cover best practices in customer-centric strategies, use of shopper insights, and price, promotion, and assortment optimization

SAN CARLOS, Calif., Jan. 8, 2009 -- DemandTec, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMAN), a leading provider of on-demand optimization solutions for retailers and consumer products manufacturers, will be presenting industry best practices and exhibiting next generation solutions at the upcoming National Retail Federation's (NRF) 2009 Convention and Expo. The 98th NRF "BIG Show" takes place January 11 through 14, 2009 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

NRF Forum Presentation

DemandTec is pleased to invite NRF attendees to a special NRF Forum session entitled "Are You Truly a Customer-Centric Retailer?" The Forum will address several critical questions now facing retailers, including: what does it mean to be a customer-centric retailer and how do you translate customer insights into marketing and merchandising plans that build long-term customer loyalty?

Co-moderated by DemandTec and DemandTec business partner, Precima, the Forum session will feature:

* Denise Darragh, vice president of marketing and advertising for Rexall PharmaPlus presenting a case study of the Canadian drug chain's customer-centricity programs.

The Forum session takes place on Sunday January 11, 2009 from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, in Hall E, Room 1E14/15/16.
