Xybernaut Solutions For Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Emergency Workers and First Responders Shown at International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference

FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 17, 2004 -- Xybernaut(R) Corporation (NASDAQ:XYBR) today announced it is exhibiting and demonstrating its mobile/wearable computing solutions to law enforcement communities in the booth #1000 at the 111th Annual International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference and exposition.

The 2004 conference, held Nov. 13 - 17 at the Los Angeles, CA, Convention Center, covers a broad array of topics such as "Break-through Technologies for the 21st Century," "Highway Safety," "Homeland Security," "Communications and Computing Strategies."

The Annual IACP conference is a working conference, providing opportunities for law enforcement professionals to attend quality educational sessions, network with officials, experts and peers, and view the latest in technological developments.

Xybernaut expertise and technologies in the areas of emergency first response and Homeland Security have been combined with Team Xybernaut(TM) partner-developed Emergency Virtual Operation Center (EVOC) portal technologies. The combined solution creates a comprehensive mobile computing platform that forms the basis for virtual operations centers during critical incidents.

Xybernaut mobile computing technologies and solutions are rugged and versatile and are often coupled with command and control applications from partners to meet the needs of public safety officials, fire and rescue, and police. When combined with the Xybernaut Atigo(R) mobile/wearable computers, these virtual operation center solutions bring critical information directly to the point of need.

The Atigo product family of patent-protected smart display panels was developed in direct response to customer demand from numerous industry sectors. These industries include transportation, aviation/aerospace, retail, hospitality, medical/healthcare, banking/finance, utilities/communications, homeland security/first responder, and government/military. Xybernaut customers include Flight Deck Resources, Hilton Hotels, FedEx Express, U.S. Department of Defense (all armed forces branches), U.S. Department of Justice, numerous first responder communities, and many others.
