ORLANDO, Fla., June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and SAP America, Inc., a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), are working with the HP (NYSE: HPQ) Enterprise Group to help clients more rapidly and cost-effectively adopt and deploy the SAP HANA® platform through an innovative subscription based model. The goal is to accelerate the ability of clients to transform their business by leveraging real-time business insight provided by SAP HANA. The companies will provide integrated solution-as-a-service and additional managed services solutions leveraging their respective assets, products and services to target clients worldwide across various industries. The announcement was made at SAPPHIRE® NOW, being held June 3-5, 2014, in Orlando, Florida.

The solution will help clients that have already purchased SAP HANA but have not started their deployment or fully utilized their license capacity for SAP HANA, and will feature Accenture managed and implementation services and HP Converged System for SAP HANA and Enterprise Group infrastructure services.

The collaboration will include Accenture as the primary services provider, HP's Enterprise Group as the primary infrastructure provider, and SAP will provide mission-critical product support for SAP HANA. Accenture will manage the client relationship and deliver deep industry expertise, strategy, business process transformation experience and integration and deployment capabilities, while HP's Enterprise Group will provide to Accenture the systems architecture, IT infrastructure products and technology, and infrastructure services and related software for the new solution.

"Accenture's strategy, business process and integration expertise coupled with HP's Enterprise Group IT Infrastructure will help clients take full advantage of the SAP HANA platform. With Accenture serving as the single point of contact, clients would find it easier to deploy and manage SAP HANA on HP Infrastructure and achieve key benefits including lower risk, reduced commitment and greater scaling options," said Mark Willford, senior managing director, Technology Ecosystem and Offerings, Accenture. "This joint initiative will be managed through the Accenture and SAP Business Solutions Group and provides another example of how we can simplify the process for clients to leverage SAP solutions and Accenture services."

"Increasingly, organizations are looking to streamline their IT infrastructure by shifting their focus from integrating hardware, software and services, to adopting complete systems that can be quickly ordered and deployed to achieve business results faster," said Nariman Teymourian, senior vice president, Global Enterprise Solutions, HP. "HP's Enterprise Group offers industry-leading infrastructure and capabilities that are a critical part to delivering an SAP HANA solution-as-a-service to help customers speed innovation."

"With today's announcement, we are taking another step toward helping our customers leverage the power of SAP HANA in the cloud," said Kevin Ichhpurani, senior vice president and head of Corporate Business Development and Strategic Ecosystem, SAP. "Together with Accenture and HP, we plan to offer the world-class benefits of SAP HANA through a more simplified approach that can include required technology and services without the capital expense of traditional deployment."
