Technology has improved for supporting groups and teams since 2001. In a status report (Power,2001), the conclusion was "we really need Interactive Video, whiteboards, and screening sharing for effective Global collaboration and decision support." In 2013, managers have that and much more including social network capability, telepresence, high definition video conferencing and collaborative word processing.
