Business Case
In general, a business case is an argument for a change or an initiative. A decision support or Information Technology business case is a written document that provides analysis and information about the risks and rewards involved in building a new technology capability. The document should discuss the problem the proposed project is intended to solve, any alternative solutions, desired outcomes, resources required to achieve the outcomes, the anticipated return, and the overall feasibility of the project. The document attempts to answer the broad question: What is the business case for starting and completing the proposed project. |
