HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 14, 2006 Intergraph Corporation today announced that the American Red Cross presented the Company with the Circle of Humanitarian Award, the organization's highest award honoring financial assistance, for its support of disaster relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The award was presented by Rick Cantrell, executive director of the Madison/Marshall County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and received by R. Halsey Wise, president and CEO, Intergraph.

"Hurricane Katrina was a devastating storm impacting thousands of lives. Once we learned of the humanitarian needs, we mobilized our company and triaged opportunities to provide assistance. Working with the American Red Cross, Intergraph provided technology and people while financing assistance to address the needs of those impacted. In addition, we volunteered facilities to serve as a central warehouse and distribution point for food and medicine," said Wise. "I, together with the people of Intergraph, feel fortunate and privileged to be able to help and make a positive difference in the areas in which we live and work. Assisting those in need reflects the core values of our company and highlights the humanitarian spirit of the people of Intergraph."

"The American Red Cross Circle of Humanitarian Award recognizes corporations for their significant contributions in support of large-scale disaster relief operations," said Rick Cantrell." Support from concerned corporations such as Intergraph is imperative to providing emergency assistance to those in need."
