Knowledge Base

A collection of facts, rules, and procedures organized into schemas. A knowledge base is the assembly of all the information and knowledge of a specific field of interest. Traditionally a knowledge base refers to the data and set of rules used by an expert system. A knowledge-driven DSS derives its functionality from its knowledge base.
