The announcement was made at SAPPHIRE(R) '06, SAP's international customer conference, being held in Orlando, Florida, May 16-18. Following the company's 2005 acquisition of the IBM Personal Computing Division, Lenovo conducted a comprehensive audit of company-wide software solutions. Integrating data and standardizing on the SAP NetWeaver(R) platform helps provide Lenovo the critical business capabilities necessary to respond to customer demand with agility, innovate quickly and foster efficient global trading relationships -- elements key to the company's success.
