from DSSResources.comQuip 2.1 for Android: rich notifications and chatQuip announced Quip 2.1 for Android. The goal at Quip is to reimagine the productivity suite around communication and mobile devices. Quip 2.1 includes: Rich Notifications With this release, we've made notifications much richer. They now visually show you who has sent you a message, and include images and multiple replies. Conversations are now broken out into an independent notifications. If you receive more than a few notifications, we'll collapse them down to a single entry. You can now also reply or like messages directly from the notification tray. Improved Chat Group chat is now simpler and faster. It's easier to name chats, and you can add your most frequent contacts to chats with the tap of a finger rather than searching for people individually. Matching our messaging experience on the desktop, we have added a cool mobile keyboard that makes @-mentioning people and documents in messages really fun and easy. Import from Box You can now import documents directly from Box (in addition to Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, and general file downloads) on Android. In addition to these big features, there are also a number of smaller improvements in this release, including performance improvements and an easier-to-use sharing dialog. We hope you enjoy the new stuff and, as always, keep the feedback coming! https://quip.com/
